La voz de Galicia.
This new slab around Vigo have been surf only by bodyboards.I start to check from last year,cause my wife is from vigo and knows the best to guys out there,Cristian and Pablo.
I start to surf more with jaime and Bruno and they all said we could bring the sky.So i called my friends and they were stoked.
They got sick barrels,got this coverage on the biggest journal from Galicia wit a full page talking a lot about the wave. i am happy too cause that wasn´t the best day and we will have it bigger.
Journal´s tilte says:In search for the perfect wave.
2 times european champ Eric Rebiere is being trying the power of the sea at Mougas and broke many boards.

long weekend
The weekend start at this Vigo slab.(shot from bruno Novoa),after i went to madrid saturday mornig to this Sardenia contest that i post before this,sunday.
Monday i went all the way up to find spots in Corse,but all day driving for nothing.
Tuesday,back to north of Sardenia,i surfed this new wave tat the locals told me that nobody surfed before(shots will be in mags,crazy right close to the rocks), ans they told me to put a name on it.So i choose Uma,as my daughter´s name.
Back to madrid tuesday night and drive all night to Galicia where my wife and baby is and ready to go tow this slab,caue i am over of wypeouts there!

summer2010 biggest day
yeah,it s true.this is the biggest day that i surfed this summer.
I couldn' t move that much,cause the baby.For sure,France session the week before was biggger and barreling.But i was living by Viana do Castelo and this was the bigest day there at the spot i surfed must:the soccer field at Ancora.Thanks all the locals for be that nice.Will miss you guys!

storys of contest
Couple of weeks ago i won one contest.
Long time i didn't compete and i was happy about that.
One thing that i felt during the contest was that the flow count a lot in some moments.
I got there and only surf one good wave at Ericeira with local boys Miquel Fortes,diogo and diko.
I wasn't surfing good and before the final they all show up on the beach(with my wife and baby), and some local beers.
I drunk 3 and went to the finalJustin start with that 9, i was so confident and free that i knew i could wind.
Wasn't a big contest.Just the Portuguese nationals.
Before i won many Euro contest in the same way.Eneko Acero lived those final with me.
Sometimes when you tired and you not really there, you need change the " vibe", to go in the water.
hope My friends Jeremy and Micheal will think about that now in tahiti.
They will have pression and maybe the best way is just go play!

Portugal´s pro surf tour
I was at home taking care of my baby and president f the Portuguese Pro association invited me to go down to santa Cruz for the third stop of their tour(Ocean Spirit)
I was proud to go,cause i am not going to many contest this year and be focus on the winter waves.
I got there with my friends:Tiago Oliveira, Mara, Diko Pires and family, Miguel Fortes, Serginho and ¨Paris¨ and my wife for a weekend competion fun and in the end i surfe my best heat of the contest and could beat Justin Mujica,one friend and the guy who start the heat with a 9.
This is a couple shots and i will put a video from some footage of the weekend soon..
